Here at the Fantasy Sports Factory we aim to bring you the ultimate Fantasy Basketball experience. No salary caps, no auctions, just a straight forward, fun live draft. You will draft a squad of 18 players, from which you will select a starting line-up consisting of 5 Forwards, 5 Guards, 2 Centres and 1 Utility (any position) player. Many players are eligible for multi positions, you will be provided with these before the draft.

Read through the rules of the game and then head on over to our live draft page and get signed up to pit your wits against other basketball fans from around the world! Its your decisions that will determine if you take home the prize money and the mantle of FSF Basketball Champion.

RULES

The draft will consist of 18 rounds. The order of the draft is selected randomly and you will be provided with this order prior to the draft. The draft operates on a serpantine basis, which means that round 1 will be teams 1-14, round 2 will be teams 14-1, round 3 teams 1-14 and so on until all 18 rounds are completed. At the conclusion of the draft you must be able to field a starting line-up of 5 Fowards, 5 Guards, 2 Centres and 1 Utility player. The remaining 5 players will be your reserves. At the conclusion of the draft we here at FSF will load all the teams into your league and then send you your log-in details.

Setting Line-ups

You will be able to set your line-ups automatically upon logging into your teams. If you encounter any problems, you may email your line-up into ourselves and we can adjust it for you.

Your starting line-up will be your active roster for 1 week, running from Monday through Sunday.

Scoring

The league is run on a rotisserie basis and scoring will take place in 10 categories. Whichever team is top of a category will score 14 points towards their team total, second place 13, down to 1pt if you are last in a category.

The ten categories are Points, FG%, 3pters scored, ORebounds, DRebounds, Steals, Assists, Free Throw %, Blocks and Turnovers.

Free Agents

From week 3 onwards you will be able to add 1 free agent to your squad. A free agent is a player not currently on a roster in your league. You will be able to easily access a list of all free agents on your league page. The team that is bottom of the league will have 1st pick, followed by the team second from botttom and so on. If you select a free agent you must release a player as your roster limit will always remain 18.

If you are higher in the league, you may wish to select more than one free agent as your pick may be taken by an earlier player. All free agent picks are to be emailed in to us at basketball@fantasysportsfactory.co.uk by 10am Saturday morning. The squads will be then updated that day in order for you to set your line-ups for the following week.

Trades

You are free to trade with the other managers in your league. You may trade any number of players or your free agent pick for the week. Both parties must email the details of the trade to us and we will ratify the trade. Only lopsided trades to the detriment of the league will be rejected. In such a case it would be passed back to the owners to work on. We will of course provide full communication so the reasons are understood. We would hope this would be a rare occurence!

All trades must be emailed to us at basketball@fantasysports.co.uk by 10am Saturday morning in order to be processed in time for the following week.

Your league site

On your league site you will find a multitude of features, from the current standings in your league, player stats, team reports, the latest news and much much more. Explore to your hearts content to get the maximum benefit.

The Cost

There is only one cost involved, your initial entrance fee. There are no charges for additional transactions during the season. We have 3 price levels available, each providing different levels of prize money! There is no difference between the features provided in each price level!

The Prizes

If you make the top 3 in your league, then you will be earning some prize money, and hard earned it will have been too as you will have proved your prowess as a basketball manager! Full prize breakdowns are listed on the league entry page!
