You will have total control over your squad!

You will initially draft a squad of 18 players and each week you will select your starting XI. Your success will be down to your ability to assess the talent of your players, your ability to wheel and deal in the trade market and perhaps crucially your ability to spot new talent on the free agent list.

When you select a player, he is YOURS and yours alone. Nobody else will benefit when he scores, just like real life, giving you the most realistic fantasy game available.

Upon joining you will be provided with a password for your league where you will be able to access the latest standings and all the relevant statistics for your players.

THE DRAFT

The starting point for all leagues is the draft. For those of you used to newspaper fantasy leagues, this will be a completely new concept. However, it provides far more fun and offers you much greater control over your team than the normal salary cap format.

The draft will run over 18 rounds, during which each manager will select one player for his squad per round. There are no restrictions on who you select, the only condition being at the end of the draft you must have a minimum of 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 attackers. The positions of your 7 reserve players is totally in your hands. 

Remember, once a team selects a player, nobody else can then select him. Thus your knowledge of ALL premier league players will be put to the test, not just the obvious big names.

Each team will be given a position in the draft from 1-14. The draft will run on a serpentine basis. This means that in round 1 the order will be 1-14 and in round 2, 14-1. Thus no matter what position in the draft you are there shouldn't be any advantage.

The drafts will take place in our own online chatroom and should take around 2.5 hours to complete. Believe us when we tell you that the excitement and tension of a real-time online draft is second to none. The dates and times of our drafts are listed on the league entry page. You will be sent the draft order and instructions of how to join the draft a few days before your draft date.

 SQUAD 

At the conclusion of the draft you will have a squad of 18 players. Lets hope you have made the right choices! From your squad of 18 you will select 11 players to represent you each week. Each week will run from Saturday to Friday. The deadline for your team selection is 12pm Saturday afternoon, allowing you time to listen out for any last minute injury reports.

You can select your team in any one of the following formations :-

5-3-2 , 4-4-2 or 4-3-3

POSITION ELIGIBILITY 

A full list of players and their eligible positions in the game will be provided for you upon joining a league.

SCORING

Each week your starting XI will score you points dependant upon the players performances in the Premier League. The positional points are as follows :-

Goalkeepers:-

Clean Sheet               5 points

Penalty Save              2 points

Goal Scored!             10 points

Assist                         5 points

Defenders:-

Clean Sheet                3 points (if played 45 mins)

Clean Sheet                1 point (if played less than 45 mins)

Goal Scored               8 points

Assist                         4 points

Midfielders:-

Clean Sheet                1 point (if played 45 mins)

Goal Scored               6 points

Assist                         3 points

Attackers:-

Goal Scored               4 points

Assist                         2 points

All Players:-

Player Booked            -2 points

Player Sent Off            -4 points

Player scores Hat-Trick    10 points

SQUAD MANAGEMENT

Once the draft is over, you are not stuck with those players for the remainder of the season. You can alter your squad via free agents and trades.

Free Agents:-

Beginning in week 4 of the league are Free Agent Selections. Each week a manager can select any player not currently owned to add to his squad. As no more than 18 players are allowed, he must also release one player in doing so. Each week, the team that is last in the standings will pick first, followed by the team that is second from bottom and so on. 

Trades:- 

Trades can be made with rival managers at any time. You can trade any combination of players or free agent picks. Each trade must be submitted (by both managers) by 12pm Friday afternoon in order for it to be processed in time for the following week. All trades will be reviewed by FSF and if any are deemed to be lopsided they will be passed back to the owners to review.

There is no cost for any of these transactions. The only price you will pay is the initial entrance fee. There are a range of leagues, varying in price. Of course, the more expensive the league to enter, the greater prize that you can win!
